Here’s a Banana Fritters recipe for those who like a more “meaty” fritter like my family does.
4 ripe bananas
3/4 cup milk
2 eggs
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cup flour
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 tsp Fresh Grated Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tbs Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Baking Powder
Frying oil (enough to go 1/2″ up the pan)
Mash bananas…add remaining wet ingredients…add dry ingredients…Heat oil in frying pan…Spoon batter into medium heat oil…brown on each side. Place on hand towel or a brown paper bag…eat warm.
