The University Of The Virgin Islands put on their Clean Reef Rap benefit event and it was amazing. Check out the video to see the showcase of Virgin islands music talent.

Featured is Lil Sweat, a group of students from the Ivana Eudora Kean High School, St. Thomas. Their rap, Clean Reef, first premiered at Reef Fest, a local education and outreach event organized by the Virgin Islands Marine Advisory Service (VIMAS) and Blue Flag USVI. Lil Sweat was then invited by the University of the Virgin Island’s Marine Ethics class to perform their rap at a forum hosted by this class on Earth Day. Here we highlight local talent, as well as demonstrate how students can utilize music to broadcast an environmental message to the community of the Virgin Islands.
