Innovative’s cable channel, TV2, produces the USVI’s leading news broadcast and other popular local programming — available only to Innovative Cable TV customers in the Virgin Islands. TV2 airs CBS primetime programming, as well as popular shows such as “The Early Show” and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
News2 brings you the latest in local news, weather and events as well as national and international news about business, sports and health. News2 airs Monday through Friday at 7:00 PM and 11:00 PM.
News2 is directed by News Anchor Sandra Goomansingh and on-air talent includes April Knight and Erica Parsons.
News2 has been chosen as “Best of the Virgin Islands” by readers of the Daily News every year since 2006, and has won numerous Telly Awards for its news broadcast (the Telly Awards organization annually showcases the best work of advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators and corporate video departments). TV2 also received Telly awards for the documentaries “Haiti, The Road to Recovery: VI Heroes” (2011) and “Hurricane Hugo 20-Year Anniversary: The Longest Night” (2010).
